From green smoothies to Belgian waffles an soy yogurt; I can finally say that I am looking forward to breakfast in the morning! I have started the 40 Days Of Green Smoothies and oof! I like it but it’s a little rough, I won’t lie. When you aren’t used to something it can get a little hard to adapt. I am used to steam, bake and sautéed my Kale, not blend and drink it, hehe. The next smoothie recipe involves Cocoa Powder so that should help me ease the taste, eh? I am also surprised that my Mum is doing this challenge with me. And she is also drinking them without any complains! She actually loves it, go Becky!
Ahhh. I am actually watching Scott Pilgrim and guess what part they are currently on? Todd the Vegan! I can’t stop laughing, hehe. I adore this film, also if you haven’t seen read the comics yet, you totally should :) – This is I thinking out loud!
Okay back to our regular scheduled program, shall we!? As some of you may know, I can’t drink soy milk. I find it very weird, since I am able to eat soy-based products. I am guessing it has to do with the process. I am not sad about it; I am in love with almond milk anyways! Over the years, I never paid attention to Soy Yogurt because of my soy milk allergen. I figured why even bother? Well, let’s give it a try! While grocery shopping I noticed the Soy Yogurt by WholeSoy & Co. I have been hearing a lot of reviews about this company and yogurts and that’s when I finally came to a conclusion! Why not try them?
I had the Blueberry Soy Yogurt for starter, and wow was I impressed. It was rich, creamy and filled with blueberries! My throat did not get itchy or to the point of closing. What a joy, this was. I was able to enjoy a yummy yogurt for breakfast. I honestly expected a more liquid and softer cream. I was wrong. It was thick and tasteful. I didn’t want it to end.
Verdict: I was so impressed that I even asked my Mum to have a spoon. *Note that she isn’t vegan or anything, so this is why I highly value and appreciate her opinions. She enjoyed it just as much as I did. Hooray! I am really excited to add WholeSoy & Co Soy Yogurts to my daily morning routine. I wasn’t aware of the fact they carry a total of 12 flavours until they tweeted me earlier in the day! See, this is why I like Twitter. You can freely tweet anyone, voice your opinion and even thank the companies who provides for us. It is very convenient. They didn’t have to reply me back, but they did! Thanks guys! You have made my day :)
*Yes this is my Chewbacca Plush doll in the background. Don’t you just love his piercing blue eyes? I love my Wookie! I have met a lot of you guys through Twitter. have also talked to many vegan food producers; Twitter can become a friendly tool!
WholeSoy & Co is 100% Vegan, Organic, Casein-Free, Dairy-Free, Kosher and Gluten-Free.
Have you tried any of the WholeSoy Soy Yogurt varieties? If yes, what did you think about them? Have you made any fun recipes with them? I can’t wait to try the White Pan Pizza with Mushrooms! It looks delicious! I am now looking forward to incorporating WholeSoy Soy Yogurts to my diet and recipes!

I’m glad your mom’s enjoying the smoothies! The chocolate ones are my favorites by far. :)
We buy the big tubs of Whole Soy! It’s my husband’s favorite. He’s not vegan, and he still loves their plain yogurt. I have started buying the plain unsweetened, because I need to watch my sugar for this baby. The unsweetened is….tangy….but Dave likes it when I add a tablespoon of maple syrup or sugar for him. I’m getting used to it with just sliced banana and a handful of nuts, but I do miss the sugar still!
Oh, that’s great! I haven’t tasted the plain unsweetened one just yet. I was actually sad to see that Kroger no longer carries WholeSoy!!!!! The minute I get into it, is the same time they decide to take it away from me :( I love Maple Syrup, I can just eat a spoonful any time of the day, hehe. It’s so not a Canadian thing! Lol.
I can’t wait to get my hands on more of these cups! Have you cooked with them yet?
oxo
I haven’t! So far, I’ve only used it for breakfast and stirred it into a couple of bowls of chili.
